Post by dragon06 »

Hi all
Can i use the crank position sensor on my 2.0ltr zetec to run a megajolt lite jr v4 which picks the crank postion off the flywheel instead of using a seperate trigger wheel.
regards john

Hi John

Welcome!

All Zetecs I've ever been involved with have a Ford OEM VR sensor pointing at the back of the flywheel which has cast in webbing that works exactly like a 36-1 trigger wheel.

So MJLJ Zetec installs are particularly easy - just use the OEM VR sensor, the OEM flywheel and the MJLJ. You need to decide the load sensor type - TPS or MAP, but that's probably the most complex thing to do!

Any other questions, just ask...

Martin
