USB Adaptor
Guys can anyone recomend a decent adaptor that works, i'm getting evil looks from the wife everytime i take my home PC to the garage and would like to use a laptop, but it doesn't have a serial port only USB

I think he got all the bugs worked out, by now. I am sure he will comment on this. I guess I am lucky, with Win 98 and a serial equipped old IBM!

I bought one from directusbstore.co.uk - USB 2.0 to RS232 Adaptor (9 Pin) with 1m cable (SL042) with no problems what so ever reading the MJLJ. The only problem I had was trying to install the driver on an aging PC (as a test), with XP - not so easy. The driver did install with no probs at all on my VAIO laptop running XP though.
