Need a little help

Hello, just looking for some advise concerning the upgrade of my Megajolt. I purchased the unit in 07 to transplant a zetec into a GRP 4 mk1 escort. All worked ok and had engine running on MJ with no hassles. Since then the whole setup has sat in the couboard until a couple of weeks ago while completing bodywork. Reinstalled all the ignition components and noticed that i didnt have the corresponding configuration program for my MJ. The unit is a V3.2.1 version. Can i run a later version of the configuration program or do i need to upgrade to the later firmware as well, if so is this all i need to upgrade or is there other components to install as well

The Firmware and Configurator must correspond, there are updates in the config that older firmwares will not support. If you need to update the firmware, it's a reasonably simple process requiring a bit of DOS use, detailed in the Wiki guides.
