missing tooth

hi all,

this is my first post , so sorry if its a noob question

I have a 1300 mini. i installed my m.e.d triggerwheel and bracket today.
Have the folowing problem. when i put engine at tdc, the vr sensor is exactly above the downside of a tooth.
The bracket is fixed.

so wich tooth do i have to cut away , where do i start counting?? engine turns clockwise

Hi there clubbie70 and welcome to the forum.

The triggerwheel should be installed as per the instructions at http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_ve ... stallation

Basically count 9 teeth from the VR sensor with the engine at TDC. It doesn't really matter which way round you count the teeth on the trigger wheel as the leads to or from the coilpack can be swapped round.
