Here's a monitor that would work with the system I linked above: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V45U39S It is 12V so it could be direct powered from the car. Then add a wireless keyboard/touch pad like this for use in the pits: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Built-In-Multi-Tou...

Hello Team EggBoy. I'm not sure if we've met, but I know a number of the EggBoy team members as I used to live in St. Louis. Scott has even caged a couple of my race cars. The RCP OBD2 won't do anything but supply power on an E36. Unfortunately, CAN Bus didn't get used in the 3 series until the E46....

That looks interesting and expensive! VGA is kind of odd. VGA is an odd choice. I'm not sure why they didn't implement a digital output. My only guess is that when the hardware was developed, they looked at the 12V panels on the market and determined that most of them offered VGA at best. I'm amaze...

This device could be great for custom dashes!
http://gaugeart.com/ This device from GaugeART takes can bus data and displays it on any display with a VGA or composite input. The resolution is a bit low at only 800x480 (480P), but that is a common resolution for many automotive LCD panels. The manufacture has a web based tool for creating custom...

Update: I also have a second laptop that has Windows 10. No joy from that device either. I do have my Primary Windows 10 laptop configured to dual boot Windows XP for some legacy applications. I decided to try the firmware upgrade in XP. I downloaded and installed the same software: RaceCapture App...

Can't Load Firmware on Windows 10
It's been a while since I've had an opportunity to work with my Race Capture Pro MK2. So tonight I decided to get it updated. Since the last time I connected to my RCP v2 with a Windows machine I've replaced my laptop with a new Windows 10 laptop. So here's what I did: Downloaded and installed RaceC...

The way it'll work when we release our first batch of in-app analysis is: 1) import one or more data logs into app 2) export as file - one of which will be the GEMS format. This feature is being actively worked on, eta is a few weeks away for a first draft. I must not have had a subscription setup ...

Thanks for the update to the script. It's been about a decade since I've done any serious Perl development, myself. I could see regular expressions being quite useful in text conversion like this, but I wouldn't remember how to use them. I think there were lots of backslashes...or were the forward s...

Status of native GEMS export in V2?
Has there been any progress in the export to GEMS format from the V2 applications? I ask because NASA doesn't allow real time telemetry in Performance Touring (PT), Super Touring (ST), or Time Trials (TT) if it is communicating directly or indirectly with the ECU, regardless of the direction of comm...
