Hey Danieln, Are you guys going to release the STM32 based hardware schematics onto github? We have been talking about this internally. Its not super high on the priority list at the moment but its something we intend to address once life calms down a wee bit. I'm also interested in seeing more deta...

Hey zechdz, I would like to know how to proceed with caution given that firstly, the diagram may not 100% match the bike. I would be careful. While you are likely correct that its similar, you are flying blind somewhat. Is there nothing available on Ebay? I can't tell if there is any information her...

Before we mount the device to the vehicle we were looking to do some bench testing to validate the current accuracy of the unit. Is there any standard simple tests we can perform to confirm accuracy? I would like to just be sure we are getting valid data to move forward. Once you have configured th...

Hi KillaBoDilla, Some accuracy improvements to the gyro will be coming in the 2.8.6 firmware release. Its faily accurate with a bias less than .1 deg/s in any direction. It is possible to get a live telemetry stream over the USB port of the device. It has extremely low latency (hard to say how low.....

Hi Steven,
The App is now out of beta so you can install the latest from the store. If you want to test the very latest version (ie. rawhide) of the app, its always available at https://github.com/autosportlabs/RaceCapture_App

Are all K-type thermocouples the same? No. They can have different resistance values and different scales of response. But they should be similar in terms of response properties (ie they all respond linearly in the case of an ideal K type sender). How they respond is what really matters for accurat...

Hi Torkey, A couple of questions: And the response seem very sluggish compared to the stand alone gauge. The temps climb much slower. 10-15 second delay which could be deadly. How are you reading these values. Do you have an RCP in car and are reading the values on a tablet that is connected to the ...

The desktop app can also do firmware updates while the mobile app can not (possible if the mobile device has a USB host controller and ...

One App to Rule Them All
Hi ushgeo, momostallion is correct, you have to setup the dash on a per-device basis. This begs the question, what's the point of being able to configure the dashboard on the desktop app if it doesn't get transferred to the mobile app? The reason you are able to configure a dash on your computer and...

Architecture Details?
Hey x86box, Can you give us some more detail about your setup? Like are you relying on data to go out and back from Race Capture servers? Cellular networks are unfortunately pretty variable so it can be difficult to get low latency. Low latency is best achieved by using LUA on the RCP unit and trigg...
