Just checked with the one

Just checked with the one I've got, and it seems to be wil_h's map for the 998 with 295 head and MG cam. It's not the one I thought I had :-? <a href=http://www.minifinity.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=45150&highlight =map>http://www.minifinity.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&...

EDIS pins - I've not heard

EDIS pins - I've not heard of an equivalent in the UK yet. I've CAREFULLY reasleased the clips and taken the wires out of the connector, opened them and carefully cut the wiring back as far as I could. The new wiring can then be soldered onto pin. I did the same with the VR sensor and coil plugs. I'...

A 4-cylinder wasted spark

A 4-cylinder wasted spark system should be ideal to run your motor. The RPM readout on the PC will be twice what the car's actually running, but you'll still be able to manipluate the map. Go on, be a pioneer! Just remember to insulate the two unused coil connectiins.

I use EasyPC at work, seems

I use EasyPC at work, seems a good package.
You input the circuit, then draw the board and it tells you when you have a wrong/non-connection. Good stuff for a free trial -

There're loads of options

You can use the USB>Serial bridge with a short straight through serial lead, or use a USB extension like this -

You'll just need to unscrew the retaining nuts from the DB9 MJLJ connector.

Any word on UK delivery time?

Hi Brent,
I ordered my MJLJ a couple of weeks ago, and the money has changed over via paypal, but have had no confirmation of my order being received. I appreciate you're more than a little busy sometimes and that these things happen.
Have you any idea on the timescale for shipping etc?
Thanks,

Giles
