Partial reply....

1) Almost certainly not - unless the Bosch/EZK system is funtionally and electrically identical to the proprietary Ford EDIS implementation, which is highly unlikely 2) n/a 3) From http://www.msdignition.com/ignition_22_7535.htm * Map a timing curve based on boost pressure. - yes * Plot timing curve...

B = Base = connected to the

B = Base = connected to the MJLJ
C = Collector = connected to R1/Tacho
E = Emitter - connected to ground

Just make sure, as stated in the pinout diagram, that you are looking at the bottom of the transistor

V3 software on a V2 board

I've not seen it stated explicitly, either way, whether this is possible - well I'm sure it's possible, but is the V3 s/w comptabile with the V2 hardware, would I get all the V3 software enhancements etc etc

TIA, Martin

Thanks Brent. I'll give it

Thanks Brent. I'll give it a go. Is there a schematic for V3 anywhere? I'd be interested in seeing what the TPS voltage conditioning circuit is - is it on the +5v out, or on the TPS In voltage? Do you believe it is a must have or nice to have - since there seems to be many V2's running OK with just ...

TPS Construction

I'm building a MJLJ with TPS. The established way to physically connect the TPS seems to be to use the NC pin 4 of the Molex as the TPS In and use the PGM4 pin as the +5V to the TPS. This sacrifices the PGM4 output. How about this as an idea that keeps PGM4?.... ...pins 6 and 7 are cross-connected a...
