CAN Termination
Does anyone know if there's CAN termination built into the race capture unit? I have only one item on my CAN bus (abs pump) and it does have a termination resistor, but not sure whether I need to add one to my wiring or if there is termination built into the race capture box...

Awesome thanks - I'm really new to any kind of programming but use excel a lot - this seems like a half way house so looking forward to playing! I've not really tested yet but at first glance I don't think I can see brake pressure values on a car with mk60 abs (conti-teves from m3 e46) but I was und...

awesome that's great news! will give it a go.. its easy enough to calibrate as it is a standard BMW linear 0-5v sensor, so can set full / zero throttle positions and draw a straight line, I just didn't want to cause the signal to half or something crazy! my old (dos based) ECU works nicely but I don...

ok thanks will take a look :) my car isn't actually an e46 but it has the e46 m3 (mk60 teves) abs system with m-track enabled, can emulator, yaw sensor, steer sensor, etc, etc.. hopefully will be getting the unit reprogrammed soon for the full motorsport software which might make it easier to pull t...

Splitting TPS Signal between ECU and RCP2 - possible?
I have a car with a cranky old-school stand alone ECU which is great, EXCEPT it doesn't talk CAN! It does have a 0-5v throttle position sensor though.. I've been warned splitting signals from analogue sensors causes issues with the values (for example fuel level sender), so... I was wandering if any...

I have a mk60 ABS system from the E46 M3 in my car, and have CAN bus messages activated and broadcast.. I am going to give your script a try over the weekend - I have removed things like oil temp and TPS as I have a standalone ECU for the engine which doesn't output this data unfortunately :( Given ...

Possibly a daft question, but in a saloon car, could I magnetise it upside down on the inside of the roof skin? Is this going to significantly reduce the performance of the GPS reception? I'm basically looking at a permanent(ish) installation into one car, and so was going to mount it to the inside ...

Hello - e36 BMW from the UK
Just ordered an RCP MK2 after about 2 years of visiting this site! I've finally got my e36 back from being painted and its slowly starting to turn back into a car again so figured I'd take advantage of Cyber Monday and pull the trigger! I have attached a couple of pictures below, but will post a few...
