2 Step Rev Limiter
It would be really nice to have a 2 step rev limiter. I can't be the first one that's brought this up... Anyone?

Well done! thank you for sharing this. Thanks. I'm having an issue setting the Advance Correction Bins using MJLJ. I change the bin values and as soon as focus leaves the cell, it goes back to 0. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Are the bin values based on Load or RPM? I'm assuming RPM, but I don't s...

I've made some huge improvements. It will now: * Calculate the Load and RPM bins based on the current Ignition Configuration and Load and RPM Values. * Calculate the Advance based on RPM and Load. * Calculate the Advance Correction Bin and Value based on the current Ignition Configuration. * Calcula...

Current Ignition Configuration in MJLJ Config is Incorrect?
Based on the protocol spec, bit 7 of byte 6 in command 0x53 indicates the current ignition configuration. Set = Config 1 Cleared = Config 2. The MJLJ Configurator appears to display it backwards in the status bar.

MegaJolt/E Development Simulator Released
I have created a simulator that will allow for building applications for the MegaJolt/E with no hardware if anyone is interested in using it. The Calibration commands are not implemented and I likely will never do them. But loading and saving the ignition maps, global configurations and state inform...

When you get a little closer I can help you build up a new ignition map. I don't think that is very optimal for your combo and is under timed in most of the areas you will be using. Your cruising RPM should be around 3200 with those rear tires this map isn't even all in yet. And with that can you s...

Hey Jestes, What are your tranny ratio's? I have a stock tranny right now. It has a 388 RP and all stock gears. It came from a 69 originally. When I get my good one built, I'm thinking 412 RP likely with stock gearing as well but I have not decided on that yet. I'm running 205/60 15s on the rear end.

Bluetooth Connectivity
I know this has been brought up before, but every post I've seen talks about how you could connect an external serial to bluetooth device to the RJ-45 port outside the box. What about cracking it open and hardwiring something like this to the inside of the box? It would be much cheaper and you don't...

Initial Map on a VW Bug
I have a moderate sized engine being built and plan to run a MegaJolt. Below are how I will be driving the car, the specs for the motor and the map I plan on starting with. Let me start by saying I know very little about ignition maps and I got this from the map library. Suggestions? I'll be driving...

Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! Kind of wish the Megajolt was out in view, however ;) Thanks. I could possibly be talked into putting a sticker on each quarter window. But I am shooting for a very clean engine compartment. I'll be eliminating all the fuel lines as well. Any chance I can get my han...

'56 VW Bug
I've spent the last 5 years building this 56 VW Bug from the ground up. I narrowed the front beam 2-1/2 inches, installed 4 wheel disk brakes with a 4x100 bolt pattern, added dropped spindles and replaced both pan halves with near perfect German metal from a 55 pan. Body wise I left it mostly stock,...
