Fuel pump relay

I am running a megajolt/E with the edis 4 module and I was wondering if anyone has used a standard fuel pump relay that triggers off the tach. signal like this one ( https://www.revolutionelectronics.com/Fuel_Pump.html ) and had it work with the tach. signal pin 11 on the edis module. I have tried u...

I have fixed the voltage issue and have tried 2 different ignition modules still having the same issue so I guess my question is that is it possible for the megajolt software to be showing that everything is working correctly but the megajolt module still does not send the proper signals to the igni...

I have tried changing out the EDIS module with a used one that I was told came off a running car but it didn't change a...

Yes you can adjust + or - 5 degrees in the megajolt software to make up for a slight misalignment of the sensor so you should be good to go.

I have a 63 bug with a 1835 engle 120 40x35 heads and dual 40 idf's and I have been running the megajolt now for 4 or 5 months and I will never run a distributor in an aircooled vw again, I went from 2 or 3 degrees of timing scatter to 0 degrees of scatter with the megajolt and I do mean rock solid ...

the edis components I bought off of ebay came off of a ford escort and I just used the wires that came with it and they worked just fine but I mounted my coil on the shroud just behind where the distributor was, im not sure where you were planning on mounting yours. Also you can take the rubber boot...

I just lined my up by eye centered over the tooth and it ended up being 2 degrees off (advanced). Are you saying then that you should have had it be lined up at the leading edge of the missing tooth and then it would have been right on? Anyway, thanks a bunch for the reply to both questions. Im rea...

It calls for a max of 1mm gap, I would call mine a fat mm but it seems to work fine that way

I had the same problem the other day I got the time out reading cylinder count message and after messing around with it for a while I finally went into the menu, and under tools, and global controller options, I found that it had lost the reading for number of cylinders so I put 4 back in and everyt...

the default map in the mjlj will work for the initial start up, but setting up the advance curves is actually pretty easy, I just searched the internet and found advance curve graphs for different aircooled type 1 distributors and used one from a 050 dist. put in the values and took the car out and ...

Compatable tachometer

Does anyone know of a tachometer that you can buy off the shelf that will work from the tach out pin on MJLJ ver 4 without having to make a circuit board or perform some sort of witchcraft to make it work?
