UPDATE today, Finished and installed the vacuum reservoir and removed that "funny Bosch thing" with a Boost Engineering distributor plug...nice deal

yesterday I made a coil mount out of some scrap aluminum I had laying around and mounted it to my fan shroud, and today ran some wires from the coil and vr sensor to the rear package tray where I'll mount my electrical goodies

Another small step for man kind UPDATE!!!!

Well not really, but I did start on my EDIS ignition system, I got the hard parts gathered and after looking around and scratching my head, I got the pulley and vr sensor installed....it came out straight and true, more updates to follow.

I noticed the wire colors on my EDIS plug don't match the wire color schematics on your wiring diagram page, are yours just for reference and not color specific ?

I'm getting incomplete download or damaged media (NSIS Error)...and on the firmware can't open it either, doesn't recognize the program that created it? any ideas

Which software to install

Okay, I'm new at this and will need help along the way I'm sure. I got my laptop squared away and will be purchasing my MegaJolt V4 soon. I am a little confused as to what software I need to install, I'm just trying to grasp this stuff before I order my unit. Thanks

Well that laptop fell through, but I'm looking at a Acer Aspire One notebook...anyone use one of those, I also see it doesn't have a serial port but you can get an adapter at Radio Shack

Well looks like I found a Dell laptop local for $100 so I'm good there, as for boost I'll be looking for 7 or 8psi (internal wastegate)...DannyP you said "If the MAP sensor that comes with the 'Jolt won't go high enough to cover your boost range, you can replace it with one that will" What...
