i cant take credit for that, a good guy on here did it and i simply copied him because it was such a neat idea!

In America i believe they had bigger bumpers on them? but yes known as the mercury capri.

you can buy usb to serial adapters. thats what i used. try to buy a good one though, not one of those 99p jobbies of ebay, people seem to have issues with them ones not working properly.

Is there a way of the mjl detecting a voltage signal?

Is there a way of the mjl detecting a voltage signal? as in, supplying a voltage to it so that it effected the timing? I know there no provision of a knock sensor yet, but i wonder how difficult it would be to fit a sensor and get it to control the mjl when know is detected? From what ive read, knoc...

just got it up and running this afternoon. hopefully itl allow much better tuning of the ignition than the dizzy. the problem i had was i needed more idle advance and higher rpm advance, but less advance around the torque curve (2500-3500). I did try a retard system on it but it wasnt tuneable enoug...
