Well done and yes.....

...I have had problems updating the map at high rpms (6000 or so) but others have reported no problems. Just reducing the engine rpm to 3000 rpm or so temporarily solved it for me.
Nice to see another one in the bag....

whats the point of the
whats the point of the change map on the fly function then? if its just to have two maps saved on the computer, and uploading them when needed?
Because when you're on a
Because when you're on a rolling road (or the open road) tuning the advance map for maximum power at each rpm point, you can use the configurator to change just the advance bins that you are interested in whilst maintaining the same rpm...
...and in my experience, just watch the horsepower increase!!!

It seems that we're discussing two different concepts:
1. Update Ignition values while engine is running
- Yes this is possible, and the firmware was designed to accomodate this.
2. Switch between two different ignition configurations on the fly, using a switch or equivalent.
- This is a feature not yet implemented, slated for a near-term release. V3 hardware will support it natively, V2.x hardware will require some mods to the PC board.
