Try MAP, if too much trouble, use TPS

MAP works better for varying altitudes, so try it first, see if you can get it working. If not, TPS will do. I think you'd find it fun trying both of them, it's not hard and people here will help you out.

i'm running a map sensor my car setup but.

i'm running a map sensor on my carb setup. i managed to get a good reading by taping all the runners, but it reads 45 to 55 at idle so effectively renders half my map table un used . as the only time the reading drops lower, is when i lift off the throttle completely and close the car butterfly's to create more of a vacuum in the manifold.

Any one know how easy/whats involved in convert the MJLJ unit to TPS?
