Project Fi?

I've been trying to get a Project Fi data-only SIM card to work with an RCP MK3 with no success so far.

SIM card is activated, and I asked Project Fi if they could restrict it to 3.5G but they said they couldn't. Project Fi uses Sprint / T-Mobile / US Cellular towers.

Settings:
-Cellular Module: ON
-Cellular Provider: Custom APN
-APN: h2g2
-Background streaming: On
-Podium ID entered

Tried hooking to both USB and +12v, no difference.

Cellular Status says "Initialized", but Network Status says "Stopped_searching", then it flips to Status "Error initializing" and Network Status "Searching". Phone number is blank, Signal strength stays at 99. Telemetry status says "Unable to join network".

Any other things to try?

Since I can't get Project Fi to work, I looked into FreedomPop, but there are two options. Data-only GSM, and Data-only LTE, which would I want to order? GSM is out of stock.

Log from Project Fi SIM below (with a bunch of CAN complaints removed)

By the way, after my disaster with FreedomPop and them cancelling my account.. I did get my Project Fi SIM working. My only issue was I just didn't have good enough signal.

Yes, Fi should work because T-mobile. However, t-mobile has typically poor coverage in rural areas, where most race tracks are.

Was your FP issues around the extra changes? Were you able to downgrade your account to $0/month? For what reason did they cancel your account?
