Hi members, I am new to this forum. I have a single cylinder 4 stroke 680cc Honda that had a single lobed CDI/ignition coil, crank fired system and through thumpertalk some time ago, I was put onto the MJ. A very clever chap/gunsmith in Lynnwood turned my reluctor wheel from a single into a 36-1 and with an edis4 and a ford ranger cop will enable me to properly tune my bike. I will have to install a snubber and a 680cc tank to offset the large gulps of air my bike takes on ignition, to stop the analog needle bouncing eratically. Any information you more experienced folk out there have for me on other options fro the plenum-tank setup and possible maps would be greatly appreciated, kind regards EF

Hi -

Without measuring equipment it's usually trial and error until you find the plenum reservoir that gives smooth signals while still providing a reasonable response to throttle changes. What did you come up with?
