It looks like the new RaceCapture app doesn't have the option to set a fixed COM port channel like the previous RaceAnalyzer. While the auto polling might be nice, it's rather annoying because if the same USB port is used then the same COM port is valid. So it would be nice if there was the option to set a fixed COM port ID as well as letting the program make a dynamic selection.

Or even try the 'favorite' port a few times first, then fall back to searching all if nothing was found (in case I blindly plug into the wrong USB port sometime).
