I'm trying to get my Mk1 RCPro hardware updated with the new RaceCapture app. But either the hardware of the app freezes about 2/3rd of the way through the config upload.

What's wrong with the .rcp config that's causing the hardware to freeze the the red LED to illuminate?

For comparison, this preliminary config worked, it successfully uploaded to the device, and downloaded from the device.

So why does this one work and the first_initial.rcp doesn't work?

Not sure which particular configuration setting was causing the app to freeze. I went through the configuration item by item, writing to the RCPro after each change so I could narrow down which configuration caused the app to freeze. Except none of them did.

So it's like the freezing was caused by trying to write too many changes at once? Maybe it prefers incremental changes rather than a whole bunch at once

Only other thing I noticed was when trying to write from the script screen then it consistently froze. But when it was freezing the other night I wasn't on the script screen.

So in the end this config ended up working, and this config is nearly identical to the one I previously reported caused freezing.

The freezing is particularly prone to happening when making scripting updates.

I downloaded 2.8.5 and 1.3.13 and no longer have the issue.
