RaceCapture does not turn on

Hey all,
I recently pulled out my RCP after sitting for about 8 months (race car broke, got chopped up and scrapped it) and I can't even get it to power on now.
I provide 12V power to the proper pins, and I get nothing. No lights or anything. I measure the voltage across the power terminals and I get 3V. With the power wires disconnected from the RCP, I get 12V. Seems like something failed (short).
What could be going on here? For all I know it quit working before the end of our last race, I never tried it after that.
Can I send this in for diagnosis and repair?
