Capture Injector On Time?

How can I use the RCP inputs to capture Injector On Time? I can tap into the injector trigger, but what's the best way to measure the total on time? I know I'll have to do some scripting and I want to measure and accumulate the amount of time per second or cycle of the engine that the injector is on.
