Is it possible to have the system log voltage and just use pin2, since that is hooked up to the power source anyway?

Hi Scott,

Analog channel #8 is internal and not connected to the terminal block and is hard-connected to measure system battery voltage, if I understand what you're referring to.

Just set a sample rate and select the channel name "Battery" and you're good to go.

Do I need to hook a wire to analog 8 to do that?

Nope! As before, it's internally wired and not hooked up to the terminal block. You get it automatically.
