1600 Zetec running!

Just thought I`d post the fact that last weekend I got the Zetec engine fitted to my Fiesta XR2 running for the first time. Many thanks to Brent for building the MJLJ... Something I never could have done myself! And Matt Dearden for the map that got it running. Never one to leave things to the last minute, but its booked on the rolling road on Monday and I`ve got a rally to do in the car on the 28th and 29th of the month. Eeep!

I have my TR6 running. After calibrating the advance table to actual (I installed the VR sensor alignment so I could get the stock 4 ATDC timing at idle) I loaded a table that approximates the stock mechanical curve. Car ran slightly better on acceleration and much much better at idle. The idle was rock steady and the engine lights off much quicker. Then I added advance and it runs real strong, especially above 3500rpm. Very happy.
