Here are pictures of the installation to date. Just mounted for trial runs, until the MAF SMPFI manifold is ready.

Please note! The actual timing is eight degrees less then the timing shown in the screen shots, because the sensor is mounted at 2 degrees BTDC instead of 10 BTDC.

Mileage has changed from 12 to just over 15 MPG, as measured on a trip to San Diego on Wednesday. 240 miles round trip, averaging around 70 MPH.

Fear not, it is under the dash.

Clever use of the variable speed motor. Did you hook up a timing light, to see it change with vacuum and RPM?

Yep, I was able to visualize the advance with a timing light, measuring both MAP and RPM. Hours of hearing the spark plugs firing... snap snap snap snap snap snap...
