1998 mondeo

hi I have a 1998 mondeo 2 2lt 16v auto. I had a faulty heater core so decided to bypass it. in the process i broke the plug off the coil igniter but have replaced the plug but now i have no spark or injector pulse. what have i done. i checked the coil at the centre wire and have minus 12 volts with the ignition off and zero volts with the ignition on. the engine cranks over but no spark or injector pulse. please help

Hi Robb,

Is this an EDIS ignition system you are working with?

I think so it has a single coil pack with the four leads coming off and the suppressor on the side

Do you have a Megajolt system on your car or is it a stock ECU?
