how many amps does the system require

I still dont have my EDIS up and running iv got 12 volts to the EDIS module and Coil Pack while cranking the starter motor but mybe the amerage is to low. what type of current should i be looking for?

It will be the coil pack that draws the most amount of current; you will want a circuit that can supply at least 15 amps. Note, the ignition system will draw less than this; the extra capacity will ensure minimal voltage sag when the system is running and when the engine is cranking.

Megajolt and EDIS current

The Megajolt and EDIS hardly draw any current, but the coils need 5-8 amps in pulses. My test rig wont run off a 4A bench supply but runs fine off a 15A supply, even though the average current draw is less than 2A.
