V8 MJ Users!!! Please! What is your maximum RPM???

Post by mayngo »

I have MJ on my 383 Chevy V8, with new Accel coils, shielded microphone wire for sensor, and it only revs to 5950 RPM before break up. I am going to try and bring the sensor closer to trigger wheel, which is currently about 1 - 1 1/4 mm away.
I was just curious to see what the other MJ users are experiencing as far as RPM goes on their vehicles.
I'd like to get it to rev to about 6500RPM...

Thank you,

Mayngo

6500rpm with EDIS-8 is definitely possible. The F4 modules we've tested cut out at 6600rpm, the F1 modules at 7000rpm+

Look at the part number on the module, it will start with an F, followed by a number, for instance F1AF-12K072-AD
