Version 4.0.2 of the software Red MegaJolt/E board assembled by MegaJolt (Rev F) Hard Rev Limiter wired in by me When I connect the BT I get the Runtime error. I have two difference JY-MCU BT module...

Can you better describe / pic / link to the arduino adapter cable? the Megajolt needs RS232 level signaling- 3.3v or 5v logic level signals will not work. The original adapter I tried: http://moderndevice.com/product/usb-bub-i/ I tried a second adapter. This is a direct USB to serial output: http:/...

Hello, Can you identify if the megajolt basically functions? i.e. does it power up and control ignition advance on the engine? (verify using a timing light) - This is a first step to identify if the Megajolt firmware is alive and running. Are you using a serial cable you built or the one purchasabl...

I borrowed a USB to Serial converter. It has an FTDI chip. I wired the RJ11 to the convertor...pin 1 is TXT, 2 is RCV and 3-4 are ground. When trying to read the map I get alternating: Timeout reading cylinder count Timeout reading ignition configuration Using a vacuum pump gives me no change to the...

The above adaptor lead works, getting power straight from the fuse box. A question please. I have connected megajolt to a power supply from the fuse box that engages on ignition when you turn the key to get the computer lights on. The megajolt green light comes on. BUT. When you turn the engine the...

Can't connect via Bluetooth, module confirmed functional
I am trying to connect via Bluetooth. I have power linked from the MAP sensor and Receive from the third pin and transmit from the 4th pin (looking at the board, reading bottom row left to right). The software has a Runtime error when I connect the transmit wire...the error is: "This applicatio...

Trying to get the BT module up and running on my brand new MegaJolt/E. I wired it exactly as pictured and I get the flashing light when I power up the MJ. I am able to pair with it with my laptop (as far as I can tell, it seems to be there). At one point it prompted for a code and I tried 1234. I a...

Too excited to wait any longer....I ordered the /E today. I opted for the MAP version and the Rev limiter...but I will install it. I was going to build one myself but shipping on the components was more than the components! I actually wanted to build one to use as a kill switch for this application....

I am conflicted! I am ready to order the Megajolt...the only question is when will the /C be available? I am currently configured for the /E but it wouldn't be a bad switch...and it sounds like the /C is better suited to 2 Stroke environments. I really don't want to spend $200 on the /E only to have...

Surprised there have been no responses but then I assume the Race Capture is taking the bandwidth. I assembled my EDIS4 setup and tested it. I can run the motor on the limp home 10 degree BTDC setting. Now I just need to get some details regarding the MegaJolt /E vs the new version....worth waiting ...
