Actually, I've made my own CAD design & I've asked a prototype supplier at work to make it as a side project  For your info, with CNC program and super friendly price, I've paid 100€ for such bracket. Anyway, design has been done to make it easy (= quick since it was to help) to produce. T...

Just tell me the format and I'll proceed.
I will only do it on wednesday the earliest, I don't have access to my PC for now.

...and I'll be glad to meet you if you're around town. The Z is 35km away from Paris though (in the West side).

Why have you lower timing at high load / low rpm? Is there any reasons behind it? Other question, you only ramp up timing at low load / high rpm with 1 or 2 degrees. Can't you add some more? I'm expecting to go from 32° at WOT to maybe 40-45° at low load. I'm asking those question since I'll have to...

I've started tuning stage :D The car runs good for now but I haven't driven it yet. I'll post my progress whenever it happens. So far, my first TPS timing map. I've ignored TPS correction & run the car only in "2D" mode. This was how the car run before MJLJ ignition with regular distri...

For those who might face this issue:

Brent provided me the reference of the chipset inside the adapter: "HL-340"
With it, I was able to find a driver with google. Everything works now :)

I need USB-Serial adapter drivers - SOLVED

I'm embarrased to request such help  I've lost the mini CD that went with the USB-Serial adapter (the green one @ $14.95) I've purchased with MJLJ & components. I've found a generic one on the internet but I can only read data. I cannot write anything which is kind of annoying when your en...

Best option would be to educate yourself. I've done it with some very good books you can find on amazon if you haven't done it already. Here's the ones I love: Performance Fuel Injection System from Matt Cramer (Megasquirt) Designing and Tuning High-Performance Fuel Injection Systems by Greg Banish ...

Every engine is different. Bore is different, ok but what about cam profile, exhaust & intake efficiency? It is basically linked to how the volumetric efficiency has changed. I assumed, fuel setup has also changed with new engine at least because of displacement. My answer is some changes are mo...

Shield is there to avoid radiations coming from the rest of the car (spark ignition or radio for instance) to disturb VR signal signal so it a little bit is uncovered , it should be fine. Mine is having around 1 inch uncovered at sensor.

Ford used shielded wires. It is easy to pull the wire out of the shielded sleeve. This is what might happen with yours.

To get shielded wires cheap, go to a shop selling microphone cables. In France, I got mine for 2€ per meter.

Thanks! The outcome looks simple but I've tortured my brain to find the most appropriate way to finally end up with what you can see (it took me 4 attempts to make the part fit with the right geometry though). Only irreversible damage done is on the carb linkage rod that was filled a little to creat...

Car started for the first time with no distributor this past weekend! I've faced some issues that were easy too fix since they have been fixed by other members : - No sparks - VR sensor wires were not plugged the proper way. I have attached blue on gray & gray on blue. Since sensor & EDIS co...

Hello Paul, Have you tried to reproduce the advance the distributor was having before. This is what I've done on my project, I knew how much advance I had at idle, this is what I've done also for the MJLJ map. It started easily this way. For now, every column in my map is having the same value to ge...

Now, I'm waiting for spring & tuning time :D
