Cool ! I just got a Samsung Galaxy S running Android ! (been waiting ages for an Australian Carrier to finally start carrying an Android 2.x device with nice specs) I Look forward to being able tinker/tune the Megajolt on it.. or at least monitor the gauges, custom user defined skins for the gauges ...

Glad to hear you got it running :) Killing an EDIS is pretty hard, but it can be done if you try feeding it reversed voltages I imagine.. Killing the MJ is a pain, but with the open circuit diagram and parts available from most places, or brent, fixing it shouldnt be too hard if you cna read a cct d...

Measuring the VR sensor voltage level is only an approximation, since its actually a variable shape and frequency wave, so the exact voltage will depend on how your multimeter (assuming its a digital meter) averages it out. Make sure you are reading on the AC (rather than DC) setting. but all you ar...

Cant see your mounting bracket clearly in those photos, but from what I can see it looks like it could be a bit flexy. Ive seen on the dyno how at certain RPMs and loads, what looks like a fairly solid piece of steel can start resonating and twanging about like a tuning fork.. You usually need to ge...

I believe its the *edges* of the tooth that the timing is reference too.. (not so) quick explanation follows If one looks at the output signal from a VR sensor on a scope, you will see it is a sine-wave shape, curving up and down smoothly.. The peak positive and negative voltage of the wave goes up ...

I dont know how many people here would know what type of trigger wheel would be fitted to that engine as manufactured. If its a 36-1 (36 teeth, 1 missing) Wheel (as used on Ford EDIS igntion equipped engines), then yes. If its any other sort, No. If you dont know, hunt around for information on what...

You didnt mention which model EDIS you are using. I'm assuming here that a 1330 = some sort of Mini engine capacity variant and you are running an EDIS-4 ? If so, you also didnt mention that you have verified the EDIS has a good 12v power connection on pin 8 (on the installation guide). The EDIS is ...

I just had a look through your logs, but Im finding it difficult to tell where the problem actually occurred without a mark or accurate description of the time when it occurred. I cant see anywhere in the logs where it looked like you were cruising on a fairly constant ~3000rpm, It all looks to be u...
