What tools to remove EDIS from scrap vehicle?

If I pitch up at my local scrappie, what tools do I need to remove the EDIS module and crank sensor? Don't want to lug masses of stuff about

Thanks, Chris. Not sure what type they are, to be honest. Might have sourced some Ford parts anyway so might not need to use them.

Can't you people answer my posts quicker? Had to wait nearly 8 minutes for that one :D

Only joking, was very surprised to have such a quick response! Thanks for answer, might save me some cash as I've only got the ECU at the moment

Bolting trigger wheel template

Was mucking about in my CAD program and came up with this, it's for bolting an 163mm wheel using either 4 or 6 bolts. Might be of use to someone:

Using an ABS sensor as a VR sensor?

When I scrapped my BMW E34/520i some years ago, I removed the ABS sensors as I was going to use them on a different project. Now I've purchased MegaJolt, plus a trigger wheel, I'm wondering if one of these would work as a VR sensor, after all, it's designed to send pulses from a trigger wheel, is it...

Thanks for all the replies. I'm not sure what the difference is between a crank sensor and a rotary sensor. My logic is this: in a 36-1 system, for each engine rotation, the sensor will see 35 peaks then a gap. If I mount a 72-2 wheel to the distributor drive (basically in place of the rotor and yes...

Thanks for the reply. I think to try and run a separate 12V alternator would be more difficult than fitting a 36-1 to the crank (this guy has fitted one, he's running full EFI: http://www.goatwerks.com/images/EFI%20Pics/DSC00333.JPG ) I found this for a reasonable price: http://www.bearingboys.co.uk...

Mount trigger wheel where distributor used to be?

First time post, please excuse my future ignorance... I understand that to get this thing to work, you need a 36-1 wheel mounted on the crankshaft. Since I am interested in installing this to get rid of my distributor, I'll have a hand rotating shaft doing very little once the distributor is removed...
