Hi, You should have got some instructions with the adaptors which explain how you fit them but if not let us know and we can send you another copy of them. The terminal fits in the rubber with a 90 degree bend formed at the indentation just below the cable crimping tabs. Does that make sense? Got i...

Megajolt Spark Plug Conversion
From trigger-wheels I got the coil pack with the converter pieces so I can use existing spark plugs to fit the megajolt coil pack. pic below. http://www.autosportlabs.org/files/sparkconv_205.jpg I don't get it. The brass connector doesn't fit in the rubber. And even if it did, it would not touch the...

TESTING VR sensor and Megajolt
Is it possible to test just the trigger wheel missing tooth/ VR sensor cabled into the megajolt unit?
I have the trigger wheel on and the vr sensor aligned ans wonder if you can test it and see the rotation on a laptop through megajolt software?

Is it really that heavy? If it is, that's quite a bit of extra weigth that adds inertia to the revolving crank, so it isn't unlikely that it is of negative influence. But if you are able to do so, remove the trigger wheel and see if you feel improvement again. Alex approx 700 . I'm guessed this usi...

Car slowed down with trigger wheel.
I got my trigger wheel mounted on today and I can without any doubt say my car feels slower in acceleration.
It was just a trigger wheel 4 bolts and nut attached to the pulley. It's a 110hp car.
How can one measly kilo make a difference?

Well, I went ahead and rewired everything for the edis since the PO did some of the wiring and at this point I didn't trust it. I benched tested it all and the plugs didn't spark again. Gggrrr!!! I then remembered that the most common reason was the vr sensor wires being backwards. I reversed the w...

Going through the installation guide it should be option B: 1.Mount the sensor in any convenient way that simplifies bracket design and accommodates mounting points on the engine block. 2.Turn the crankshaft to precise Top Dead Center (TDC) for cylinder #1. 3.Position the timing wheel onto the cran...

B should correct since you want the sensor to be 90 degrees (9 teeth) behind the missing tooth. Hopefully someone with a little more experience can chime in, but that is how I remember it. Can someone confirm to help me please. Is the aim to tell the megajolt that missing tooth is 90 degrees about ...

Trigger Wheel angle missing tooth
The trigger wheel & sensors miss the chassis. Quite tight though.

Is A or B right before I get tack welding done?

I have done a test 'tightwad'. Not all of the fuse box loses power for that split second of cranking. FUSES A) Only certain fuses that connect to the immobilizer go off and on. I HAVE NOT TRIED THE ECU FUSES FUSES B) The permanent ones like lights, cigarette lighter, reg plate light stay on through ...

The above adaptor lead works, getting power straight from the fuse box. A question please. I have connected megajolt to a power supply from the fuse box that engages on ignition when you turn the key to get the computer lights on. The megajolt green light comes on. BUT. When you turn the engine the ...

Put some relays. This is what I've done: I get power from battery but I've put a relay for each system which is controlled with ignition wire. That's the way to do it. Add also some new fuses to your new harness. Can't I just cut into wire nice and neat using a terminal box like the below? My megaj...

Ignition Wiring 12V
I have the 2 cables under the steering wheel. Permanent and Ignition wire. Is it okay if I tap into the ignition with: 1)Fuel Pump 2)Megajolt & Edis Will it draw too much power? I read earlier that if you draw too much power from these cables on a same circuit that it can blow the fuse but I nee...
