Neat stuff, but... why not just use the gopro remote to start/stop all of them? I figure if you're dealing with the hassle of batteries for multiple cameras it's trivial to add the charging of the remote as well. I have a more expensive solution in my car, but I only use it with one camera so it's n...

With CAN BUS support and output now possible I think this opens up the option of using dash displays that also support CAN. Hopefully brentp can confirm. Personally I'm going to give a tablet a shot as a display in a few months before deciding on whether I want a full fledged dash display from anoth...

Lap selection for Best and Sector time data for Time Trials
I do time trials, and often my fastest lap that I'm trying to beat is not going to be in the same logging session because it happened in an earlier session during the weekend. This makes sector time deltas that are currently only based on my current logging session a bit less useful. I'd like to req...

I own one of cam-do's time lapse things along with their 12v power pack. I have it set up so the gopro powers on when the car is turned on and provides 12v power from an accessory line, and then a script in my hero 3+ Black's sd card turns on bluetooth. I then trigger recording with the bluetooth re...

Viewing data across events in Race-Capture.com
Is this possible? My android phone uploaded my data during a three day event, and each day became an ad hoc event on the website. I'd like to compare lap data across days but I don't seem to be able to do so. Is this possible?

Neoraptor reminded me that he and I had worked quite a bit on the script offline and went through a number of revisions that I never shared. Here's the latest v1.6. I hopefully captured the major changes in the changelog (shown in the comments at the beginning of the script) but I think I left some ...

I too had the issue of empty data fields (amongst other issues like invalid data and unit incompatibilities) when trying to convert the rcpro csv output into something usable in GEMS and AEM DA. You can see what we did in this thread: http://www.autosportlabs.org/viewtopic.php?t=3731 You can find my...

Brent told me via email that they were looking to implement a 50hz low pass filter in the software at some point. He said it's 1khz in the hardware. I'm personally trying some rubber mounts but have yet to get out on track with any steady g forces so I have no idea how it's going to work, but if it ...

I figured out why my track wasn't displaying properly in AEM DA. After entering the units for my lat/long like you said via the channel properties I was getting a big straight line which really puzzled me when the data looked fine. After digging around the Track Editor (going into Track View Configu...

So I was wrong earlier when I said I'd removed the code that should handle non-numerical data points. It's actually still there. I'm not sure how I got confused in my own code but it's still removing it when it's nicely contained between commas. After seeing the code is still present I went and trie...
