Restart old thread here. I just finished building a new car and it runs with a kpro v2. Can I get the data from the kpro to the rcp?

Hi guys, I'm building a new car with a older kpro. Can RCP work with the usb connection of the KPro? If not, if I upgrade to KPro4, will the bluetooth will work with the KPro and the tablet at the same time?

Thanks

I'm using the beta app.

For telemetry, I did get sime data, but connection was on/off all weekend, this is why I would like to try another antenna if available.

I will be doing other test at St-Eustache soon.

Do you have an ETA for the new app and firmware?

RCP First Test

Hello guys, I've tried the RCP for the first time at a race this weekend. The tablet worked great and all the drivers loved the dashboard, but lap times did not work. It was giving lap times as numbers, like 1.78 or 2.24. I get the same data on the logs. We ran at Mosport. I tried the autodetect and...

Yes, Rogers and Fido works. Will be trying the RCP this weekend in Mosport

For other canadians interested, here is a useful link. Look for GSM carriers, not CDMA

Issue solved. I was using a SIM from a carrier that use CDMA network. When using a GSM network it works. Rogers and Fido are GSM for any interested Canadian RCP users.

By the way, the SIM is a 4G LTE, I don't know if RCP can use that type of SIM

Canada carrier

Hello folks,

My RCP Mk2 is now fully installed in the car. I'm looking for a carrier in Canada to use the telemetry. Are there any known carriers that are working or not working at all?

Secondly, can a NanoSim work if used with a adaptor?

I mean, when I switch the ignition ON and engine not running, I get a anywhere from 20k to 90k.
When I start the engine, I get a normal RPM reading.
When I switch the ignition OFF, I get a reading of 204090.

Tommorow I will check the raw voltage reading.

Forget what I've posted ealier, I was so exited that the RPM worked, the I've set the low and high limit at the same ragne. The only clarification I would like is about the reading I get when the car is not running. Does it matter? I thought it might be voltage peaks, so I tried with the Coil...

I don't know what I've done, but I got it now.

But, AGAIN, the warning does not work. When turn the car ignition ON I get a reading of between 70000 and 90000. When I turn the ignition OFF, I get a reading of 294090. I only get a reading of 0 when I start the RCP App.
