Is the Megajolt you use MAP or TPS? If if is MAP and you haven't hooked up the built in sensor to the inlet manifold the system thinks you are running at wide open throttle, hence 100% load.

Met standaard bedoelt ie ongetwijfeld de map die je nu (blijkbaar) naar tevredenheid gebruikt op benzine. Haal daar 7-8 graden vanaf en gebruik die als uitgangspunt voor LPG. And for those who don't understand Dutch here is the translation: With standard he means without a doubt the map you use now ...

Retarding is meant as less advance, so if for example your ignition is now 31 degrees at 10% load at 3000rpm you make it 30 or 29. You have interesting bins at 8000rpm. I don't know if you rev that high, but is the retard as compared to the 7200rpm column meant as a soft rev limiter? How does the en...

I have written it before on this forum and I am writing it again: never swap without having tested with parallel operation! Install the whole MJ circus and use a set of extra spark plugs (preferably screwed into a bar of metal that is earthed to the car). Then run your engine. Much easier to see if ...

Unfortunately time to bump up this thread. I have used a second MJ V4 as a guinea pig in my attempts to become one of the Bluetooth gang; alas until now in vain. This is a red board that came fully assembled. It worked fine until yesterday, when all of a sudden the MAP-values started to hop from 73K...

Of course you can check functioning with a running engine. You can run dizzy and MJ parallel. Get yourself an extra set of spark plugs, ground them and hook them up to the MJ setup. Run the engine on the dizzy. Have the MJ setup also connected to current. This way it will be fully functional (or in ...

Back on topic again after a long time. Finally success but unfortunately not on my good old XP pc's. On every 3 of them the connection comes in at COM40. As the Administrator password I know doesn't work in Safety Mode I can't delete COM ports with a lower number. No way to change COM40 either; I tr...

It can be from an Escort or a Fiesta, an early Mondeo or whatever, as long as the version you take is used on an engine with the same number of cylinders as your engine. There are two generations of coil packs. The first generation requires special connectors on the coil side. I believe that the sec...

You need to upload your pictures to an online storage, as attached to a hotmail account or something similar. This forum can't link to pictures stored with Bing, so I opened a free Photobucket account. Then it is just copying and pasting the linkaddress. The link must stand between Img-brackets. The...
