User outputs Megajolt/E

Hi, I'm having trouble with my user outputs, just bench testing at the moment (engine not in & running) My Megajolt system is installed with a temp sensor set up correctly. I'm using 2 user outputs as Aux Temp outputs one as a fan control at 95degC & the other as a warm up Led light inverted...

Ok sussed it, we connected the 12v feed to the fan relay to an ignition 12v supply & this fixed the problem. So you cannot connect the user input relay to a permanent 12v supply because it will power up the mjljr unit when the ignition is switched off.

Hi Brent. Yes have tried all four outputs but they all do the same! I have inspected the board for any rouge solder but its clean & everything looks in order. I do have a new identical Mjl-jr unit which I'm going to try later on in the week, if this cures the problem then it must be a faulty chi...

Temp sensor input for any engine!

Did this work for anyone? You can also use it to correct coolant based timing, i found that a cold engine on bike carbs warming up benifits from one or two deg advance when cold, it helps it to idle a bit better & faster after the choke has been turned off. If the engine is hot 90 deg c plus i b...

Zetec coolant temp sensor setup

Here is my temp gauge setup on a v4.0.2 for a zetec if anyones intereasted, its quite accurate 0 to 120 deg c. Ideal for driving a fan relay or just keeping an eye on the temp when tuning. firstly wire in the sensor. Then sartup the MJLJ cofigurator, go to tools, then auxiliary input options. change...

Tps load cursor

Just a silly question i cant find an answer to. I am running tps. My engine is not built yet & i am just bench testing. On a non running engine does the cursor not move up the ignition map table untill the engine is running. I am quite a experianced Megasquirter & on a stationary engine the ...
