The idea is programmable (momentary, latch, timed on/off) switching of one or more outputs, with a serial comms bus to interconnect to a slave board mounted say at the rear of the vehicle. Outputs could be a mix of high and low current, used in parallel for higher current - maybe limiting on outputs...

Any interest in a power distribution module? A box with say 16 switch inputs and 16 outputs, mix of high and low current. Something like the Motec PD16, or ADD engineering brand - but opensource...
