MK1 or |Mk2?

This is all exciting stuff and fab news, but at the risk of appearing dumb, how do I know whether I have the Mk1 or Mk2?

Hi Riogan, I hoped there might have been a better explanation forthcoming, but if my experience helps then that's good? It just seems possible that the new driver is not backwardly compatible with old firmware -mabe if you get the wrong mix of newer driver and older firmware the whole thing goes scr...

Thanks again for the support :-)
I have exported the data into excel and it all looks in order, but is the track graphic only available when using the real time telemetry? I thought Race Analyzer was supposed to be able to show your position on a circuit.
Thanks,
Phil.

This should get you started: http://www.autosportlabs.net/RaceCapturePro_SoftwareOperation#Analysis_View Thanks ohiokm11. I followed all the instructions you refer to, but the problem is when I come to view the latitude and Longitude channels. I select those channels, chose GPS view for the chart t...

So I have some data - what next?

Hi again! I have been out and collected some data but am now struggling to make sense of it. When I import it into. race Analyzer I can select a channel(s) and "play" it but how do I visualise this on the circuit? When I select latitude and longitude and chose GPS for the display type I ju...

CoilX

Hi,
My RPM signal on my MR2 is not clean enough even though it is circa 5v taken from the ECU.
Will the coilX work even though is quite a low voltage "unclean" signal? -no where near 400v!

Many thanks.

Phil.

UPDATE

I've managed to resolve this using another PC (which is old and running Windows XP). Out of interest, what had happened was: 1) It turns out that I installed the wrong drivers initially - I used the ones for the latest version of the firmware but my RCP came with 1.1.10 installed! - I assume this is...

help getting strarted please

Hi, I've eventually got around to installing my RCP and Bluetooth module just using standard GPS & accelerometer stuff - oh and an RPM input for now. However, when I tried to save my configuration after 96% complete it kept displaying an "Unknown Error" error message. I couldn't figure...

looks like I need to get a scope to look at what the signal(s) look like and save myself a lot of heart ache!

All the best.

Picking up an RPM pulse safely

I'm still installing my RCP into my MR2 -and am now getting close to finishing, but I was wondering if anyone can advise me regarding my RPM input. I have an RPM feed that was originally wired in by the race technician that built the car, with the sole purpose of supplying a data logger. When I conn...

Agreed these look really great!

I did buy a used Merc sensor (used on the A class ABS) but I haven't got any pin out info so will play around but may scrap that idea!

Many thanks Guys
