11 years on from the initial installation and I still own the car and the mega jolt is still going strong. pulley, spacer and trigger wheel in place. spare bolt hole and sump bolts will be used for vr sensor bracket

spacer fits neatly in pulley and locates in dowel pin

pulley was drilled and pinned to locate spacer

engine pulley is aluminium so a spacer was needed, dimensions given to local machine shop

think its sorted now went to the scrapyard today and got a new coil, edis, va sensor and took a fistful of plugleads. with the intention of replacing each component seperatley to find the faulty one, i first changed the leads and connected the edis and megajolt direct to the battery and fired up. to...

took the car out last night, cut out on a roundabout with a que behind, started off again but ith pops and misfires.... tonight i repositioned the vr closer to the trigger wheel and tidied up wiring. still the same problems, pulled over and disconnected the megajolt. same problem of misfiring, got h...

set everything up, tps v4 system on my lotus 2litre, twin dellortos.

c on tick over engine runs fine but after about 10 mins, the engine stops as if the ignition has been turned off, when driving, the car lurches and starts again as if the ignition has been turned off and on again.....any ideas???
