Hi Brent, Thanks, just cuts out, engine feels rough all the time. I moved the VR sensor closer to trigger wheel and it made no difference. Ok, can anyone read the logs? Showing anything?? Tell me what to look for if thats easier. Also, just noticed that the plugs are FOULED (carbon) pretty badly... they are BP5ES (non resistor type) I will replace them tomorrow with the BPR5ES plugs... I also did clean out the dashpot, etc replace oil ...

Hi Brent, Thanks. Ive datalogged and replaced the MJ plug with a new one, soldered and wired very very well. Can you help me read the datalogs? There are 4 all up. I think it was towards the end of the second datalog where I was cruising up hill approx 3000rpm and it was cutting out... does it show ...

1132cc Mini Turbo - cutting out/missing... help

Hi Guys, Need some ideas. Mini 1132cc Turbo, running MJ v4 I sold this car 18months ago, was going like MAD... bought it back a week ago. Problem is this Driving along, it seems to lose power, ie: wont rev, wont pull, then comes good. Regardless of rev range (sometimes 2000rpm, sometimes 4000rpm) id...

Thanks mate - will do - the prob isnt the interior its the actual head unit and the earth point. I should move it anyway so might as well just bite the bullet as its tucked up and not a short earth anyway. I will try both the amp closer the the HU and also try the HU earth running back to the boot.....

Thanks Brent - will be tough to do but ill do it... ill run the earth from head unit back to the boot (which is where the amp is and is connected direct to battery (which is connected via short short cable to the chassis in the boot.

Ill update with results mate!

PS: When I said 'noise filter' I meant Audio Isolator. I put one in and its still a big problem... its an RCA 1:1 type.

Hi Brent, Thanks your onto something- can you tell me more about the ground looping issue? Ie/ You mean I have too many earth points in the car? I have - about 6 and the amplifier is not grounded to chassis, only to neg on battery. - The head unit is grounded to chassis on its own point - 4 x guages...

Hi Guys, I have a Leyland Mini - EDIS 4 and MJ 4 All running great... only issue is that I have massive interference in the stereo. Car off, its fine - its not a big system, 6" speakers + tweeters up front, 6x9s at back and a sub in the boot - front speakers and sub are amped only with a refere...

Hi Brent,

Thanks mate... attached is the last datalog... on 100% its small - I had to go to 800% to read it properly... also had to add .txt so I could upload it.
Is that what you needed or an image of the MJ screen with the datalog open?

Hi Guys, I tried to find this but cannot... Can anyone point me to a page where it explains how to read the datalog? I have the datalog from my run but not sure I am reading it right - ie/ Accel Load, Load, Decel, etc... I want to work out exactly how much boost its showing and also at what RPM... E...
