I'll re-examine my work as you suggest. Hopefully this will highlight my error. I’m still learning but enjoying it on the way.

Thanks again

Intersting project, I had the same job with my mini using a 48 IDA. No brackets available for mounting TPS. Took 3 goes to get it right. But happy with the results. Much cleaner install.

Nice Job.

As MartinM say's bolted onto the carb. Theres thousands of fiesta's out there for the taking. Also, you can strip the whole EDIS system off in a one'er. If you do that, re-installing into its new home is much easier. And make sure you do the same for the TPS including the 3 pin plug. Teds. P.S. Sorr...

I've tested the tps as you described and my results are- Red seems to be the centre. Green = high res, Yellow = low res. And green and yellow decrease and increase accordingly when the lever is operated. So from this can you guys indicted to me what’s what. My guess is. E.g. Red = signal Green = +5v...

Once these are connected it's start up time. :D

Thanks again

Kit came form the main man Brent. Thought it fit that my money goes direct to the man who's done all hard work and development.

So I should be on to a winner!

Thanks MartinM for clarifying things.

Phew...! That’s a relief. Because being the impatient type I’ve already made up the cable. Thanks for confirming things. My only other question is, are the chips which are supplied already loaded up with the boot up info. In other words will I be up and running or do I need to upload stuff before it...

RS232 Question

Hi there, I’ve just built up my board and noticed that on the schematic drawings, that with the rs232 female connector on the board only uses pins 2, 3 which communicate with the board and pins 5, 9 go to earth. So my question is, if I just mirror this pin connection pattern within rs232 cable every...
